Minute on Financial Contributions to Outside Organizations

Peace and Social Concerns (P&SC) committee met and reviewed the outcome of the threshing session on Meeting contributions to outside organizations.  The proposal from the P&SC Committee was read and the following minute was approved:

Patapsco Friends Meeting wishes to continue to support organizations which are part of members’ leadings through individual donations of money, time or goods.   Patapsco also wishes to make annual financial contributions to Quaker organizations such as the AFSC, FCNL, FGC, and the Friends Journal  as symbolic gestures of support.  We affirm that we want to maintain an awareness of each organization that we support financially and consider other ways we can support them.
